Question

A walkway is to be constructed in the shape of a sine function. The top curve is defined by y = sin x+2 and the bottom curve is defined by y=sin x+1. The horizontal length of the walkway is 2pi metres. 

 

 

The area of the walkway is what?

This feels like the area between two curves. Check out this graph then see if you can figure out what to do by finding antiderivative, etc.
