Hi -
Although "9000" appears to have one significant figure (the 9), I should warn you that
- The significance of trailing zeros in a number not containing a decimal point can be ambiguous.
I have taken this statement from

If we wanted to express it to 4 significant figures, we could add a trailing decimal point -- 9000. But in the absence of the decimal, there is no simple way to make obvious how many significant figures there are. Please read the wiki page!
