Complementary angles add up to 90 degrees.
So the complement of angle A is (90-A).
Supplementary angles add up to 180 degrees.
So the supplement of angle A is (180-A)
The complement of A is 20 less than the supplement of angle A.
(90-A) + 20 = (180 -A)
110 - A = 180 - A
The contradiction 110 = 180 is obtained by adding A to both sides.
There is no such angle.

Look at it this way:
Supplement - Complement=
(180 - A) - (90 - A) =
180 - A - 90 +A = 90
