 I have what looks like cyclobutane bonded to an OH by the top right corner..

Sounds like you have cyclobutanol, and the oxidation product would be cyclobutanone.  Can't really draw it on this site, but you can look up the structure.  It is a square with C at each corner (cyclobutane) with a =O at the upper right corner.
