There's nothing about calculus here, so calm down.  I believe that a specific point, which should have been written in parentheses ('ordered pair'), has been designated, and that you possibly are being asked to make a perceptible dot marking where that point is on a graph of function f, which is also written as f(x), parentheses required. BTW: f(7) = -4.
