solve y = 3^x

how do I solve y = 3^x so I can graph this.

 

I have one point at 0,1

Find the point where x = 1, and x = .5.  These will give you the basic curve.

I will say that Log of LHS = Log of RHS; so Logy = X*log3, but log3= 0.48; so the equation is log Y = 0.48 x

now you can plot this equation. Even, being helped by Excel you can help the first equation, but this is easier for you.

make the y axis a LOG axis.
