Let the width be x cm.

Then, the length, l = 2x - 5

Perimeter, P = 2*(x+(2x-5))

80 = 2*(3x - 5)

80 = 6x - 10

90 = 6x

x = 15 cm (the measure of the width)

l = 2*15 - 5

= 25 cm (the measure of the length)
