Write the line in the form of y = mx + b   (i.e., the slope-intercept form because it will be easier to work with).

We are given two points that the line passes through so let's make use of them.

-3m + b = 7

-4m + b = -4  

I will multiply the first equation by -1 to eliminate b.

-1*(-3m + b = 7)

3m - b = -7  and now I will add it to the other equation

-4m + b = -4

-m = -11

m = 11

now plug in m in one of the equations to find b.

-3m + b = 7

-3*(11) + b = 7

-33 + b = 7

b = 40

So, the equation of the line is

y = 11x + 40 in slope-intercept form or

11x - y = -40 in standard form
