Hello!
To set up the equation, you can start with Profit = Revenue - Cost.
It says the cost is 8.00, and the lemonade is sold for 0.50 per cup.
So, Profit = 0.50x - 8.00 where x = number of cups.
If Profit is 30.00, then the equation is 30 = 0.5x - 8, and you can solve for x by adding 8 to each side and then dividing by 0.5.
