The order in which arithmetic operations are performed is called PEMDAS:

 

P  Parentheses (do all operations inside a parentheses first)

E  Exponents

M  Multiplications

D  Divisions

A  Additions

S  Subtractions

 

Your problem has only additions and subtractions.  So do the additions first (2+1+11+20) then do the subtraction (-2).  Let me know what you get in the comments and I'll let you know if it's right.
