PATIENT :-) Elem/Middle MATH and WRITING; HS SAT and COLLEGE ESSAYS!
In each case, apply the Pythagorean theorem, which is a squared plus b squared = c squared. (C is the longest of the 3 sides.)
If the squares add up correctly, it's a right triangle. If not, it's a, uh, "wrong triangle." (Ok, that last part's not true!)
