Mimi G. Effective tutor with cheer for all types and ages of learners.
We want to add the multiplication HW problems with the division HW problems, but they are unlike fractions.
We have to put them with common denominators to add them together.
4/6 is the same as 2/3. (We just cut each of the pieces in half, so we have 4 pieces out of 6 instead of 2 out of 3.)
Now we can add our 1/6 of division problems.
4/6+1/6=5/6
