m=(y-y1)/(x-x1)
For this, you will use both points.
Then, use only one point in the point-slope formula...
y-y1=m(x-x1)
I would apply the provided coordinate to the (x1,y1) components of the equation, rather than (x,y).
This equation will expand into slope-intercept form...
y=mx+b, m is the slope, b is the value of y when x=0, also known as the y-intercept.
Then, use the other point to verify the results.
