Find Four Consecutive Number Whose Sum Is 224

i need some help for my maths homework

Andrew M.

As can be seen in the answer... your problem
contains an error because consecutive numbers
are integers that are 1 apart.  There shouldn't be
any decimal or fracti parts.

54+55+56+57 = 222
55+56+57+58 = 226

there are no 4 consecutive integers that
add to 224.

The problem says  find four consecutive numbers,
not four consecutive ODD numbers.  Consecutive
numbers are integers of format, x, x+1, x+2, ....
