"What is the difference in time it takes
each runner to complete the 60 m race?"
Athlete 1: (60 m)/(7 m/s) = 8.571 seconds
Athlete 2: (60 m)/(6 m/s) = 10 seconds
10 - 8.571 = 1.439 seconds faster
