Answer 1

Determine the unit price for each item by dividing the cost of the item by the number of ounces.  For example, for the 12 ounce jar, divide 2.25 by 12 to get a unit price of $0.1875 per ounce.  Do the same for the other jar and see which one is lower.  Please let us know what you find.
