 must find two ordered pairs that are solutions to equation 2y=6x-2 
a.(7,22)(-2,-7)
b.(7,20)(-2,-7)
c.(7,22)(2,-5)
d.(7,20)(2,7)

Given:  2y = 6x -2
Note also that everything is divisible by 2.
The original equation can be reduced.
2(y) = 2(3x-1)
y = 3x-1
 
This may be easier for the student to use to test the
values as they are plugged in.
