Can you use a colon in a title such as this" Pink Floyd: The Dark Side of The Moon"

For a title in an essay, can you use the artist and then a colon to emphaize the song ?

This is just the album's title, thus one would phrase it as Pink Floyd's (with The Dark Side of the Moon in italics). A colon only follows a complete sentence.

    Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon.

 

I'm not positive, but I think this is just the album title. I'm not sure whether or not Pink Floyd released a song with this title. If it was a song, be sure to put the title in quotation marks, instead of having it italicized.
