Hi Jessica,
First question - is there a number or a decimal missing in the 4650 kg amount? That number is much larger than the other two.
Also, is there any other information given? It seems it's missing at least one other amount or one other piece of information to complete the word problem.

Decimal point must be missing .  Grocery 's store don't have 4. 65 Ton of onions at store to buy.

I assumed the decimals were typos for commas and got: 600 kg of onions were left.

 He only bought ( 2. 500 + 3. 750 = 6.25) of onion potatoes and onion.

     4. 650 kg was left

      Out of 4.650kg, 2.500 of which was potatoes,  so 4. 650 - 2.500 = 2.150kg  onion was left
