solve the equation : 34z-10=-3(14z+13)

the answers z can = are 13.5, -6, and 6

There can only be one answer; substituting the correct answer will produce equal numbers on each side of the equation. The others won't.
 
Now, let's do algebra: 34z - 10 = -42z -39
                              42z + 34z = 10 - 39
                             76z           =   -29
 so z = -29 /76.
 
Put this answer in each side, and calculate those values; they should be equal, thus checking this answer.
The ALLEGED answers are all wrong!
