ASSUMING that the first w has a coefficient (4/5):
-3/5 = w(2 - 4/5)
-3/5 = w(6/5)
after multiplying by 5 to clear fractions:
-3 = w(6)
w = -½ (after dividing both sides by 6).
I leave it to you to CHECK the answer. Do remember, this is only for the case where the first w has a coefficient (4/5).

The answer: W = -1/2
Solution:
4/5 W- 3/5 = 2 W
Multiply both sides of the equation by 5
To get: 4 W - 3 = 10 W
Subtract 4 W from both sides of the equation
To get : -3 = 6 W
Divide by 6 both sides of the equation
To get -3/6 = W
Reduce the fraction -3/6 to -1/2. W = - 1/2
Verify by plugging -1/2 in place of W on both sides of the equation:
The left hand side (LHS) = 4/5 * -1/2 - 3 /5
= -2/5 - 3/5
= -5/5
= -1
The right hand side (RHS) = 2 * W
= 2 * -1/2
= -1
Both the LHS and RHS evaluate to -1 so they are equal and we have verified our answer.
