it won't. He give 100 back to make purchase. that's +100 in calculation.

drawer is only 30 short, plus 70 worth of goods, so loss is 100

stolen one is -100 in calculation, returned is +100

-100+100-70-30 = -100

Actually it's only 30 dollars plus the wholesale value of the goods the guy purchased.

It's $170, the store owner lost $100, then he lost $70 worth of goods, then $30 you don't count twice because the $30 was apart of the original $100

My opinion is yes the till will be missing 100 but t doesnt matter technically if the person who stole it came back with same money. Its the same as any other customer that would come in and spend money .That present merchandise will be paid for .The till will only be short the $100. The store would have numerous customers throughout day , it doesn't matter if the same exact paper money came back the till doesn't recognize this or the owner.Money is money. Maybe on a personal note it cost more to the integrity of the business or who actually got more the their received more and gained more out of it. In all reality though the till is only out 100 and all other merchandise paid for in that day by all customers even with the stolen money would be accounted for .

If any of you have money to invest I like you to invest in me and then if you have a house for sale I like to buy that  as well. And then tell the judge but I paid for the house.
