Alexander’s entire adult life was committed to his brilliant military conquests which extended to the furthest eastern point in India where he died at the age of 27. Alexander’s empire suffered from the failure of his empire to control its territories. Alexander was not a great delegator of administration. Hence there was an enormous power vacuum following his unexpected demise.
