What is the difference between algebra and pre-algebra? And what exactly is calculus?

I just want a simple answer and direct to the point.

Pre-algebra basically teaches you the foundation of what you will learn in algebra. If math isn't your strong suit, you might have a hard time going straight into algebra. It may be best to take pre-algebra first. Calculus is another more advanced form of math that works with integrals and derivatives to find change. Hope this helps!
