There are infinitely many ways to get 4 from adding 3 decimal numbers.  Here are a few examples:

 

1.05 + 0.96 + 1.99 = 4

 

2.7 + 1.1 + 0.2 = 4

 

3.3 + 0.1 + 0.6 = 4
