Need help.

The exponential function N=1000•1.32^d , where d is measured in decades, gives the number of individuals in a certain population. Find the percentage growth rate (rounded to two decimal places) per century.
 
a) 32.00% b) 1605.98% c) 1505.98% d) 16.06%

If you got 16.0598 then why wouldn't the answer be D) 16.06% when rounded?

The factor (which I put in BOLD) IS 16, MEANING that the population is 16.06 times what it was previously (ten decades before). Convert that to a % by multiplying by 100. But take out the original 100%.  Study my original wording & you see that this was covered therein.
