mrs.jacob went to the mall. The drive to the mall is 3 miles. She drove at the speed of 15 miles/hour there and back. She stayed at the mall for two hours. How long was the trip in total in minutes.

1. Find the total length of time (mins) to drive to the mall and realize this is the same amount of time for the return trip.

2. Find length of time (mins) at the mall.

 

They want the answer in mins and since 1 hour is 60 mins then two hours is 2 * 60 mins = 120 mins.
