Density question

The density of aluminum is 2.70 g/cm^3. A piece of aluminum that is 5.00 cm on each side has a mass of 5.60 g. How thick is this piece of foil?

Kenneth S.

It should be stated what the shape of the piece of aluminum foil is...is it a regular pentagon, hexagon, triangle, or possibly square? That makes a difference because the area formula (which gives the base of a thin 3-D object) is different in each case.
