Design Area A=3/2 m2 Tile Area A= 1/10 m2 dividing up the design area into the tile area gives you the number of tiles that were used: 3/2 / 1/10 = 30/2 = 15 tiles. since in the second design the artist used 19 tiles, the differences between the number of tiles used is: 19 - 15 = 4 tiles
