My son wrote 6/8 is equivalent to 9/12 and his math teacher marked it wrong. He than had to prove to her that it was, by showing her with blocks, and showing her answers online and she finally agreed and corrected herself. My son is 11

I'm 11. This is False! If yo u divide 6/8 by 2 you get 3/4. If you divide 9/12 by 3 you get 3/4.
