A rectangle has a length of 6 feet and a width of 4 feet. The perimeter of the rectangle can be found using the equation P=2×6+2×4P=2×6+2×4. Which equation can also be used to find the perimeter of the rectangle?

Hi Kelisha,
As you can see, the perimeter is 2 times the length plus 2 times the width for any rectangle. You could also simply the equation by simplifying by adding the length and width and THEN multiplying the total by 2.
2x length + 2x width
2 x ( Length +width)
2 (6+4)
