Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(length+width)

 

                            60  = 2[(2w-3)+(w)]

                            60 =  2[2w-3+w]

                            60 = 2[3w -3]

                            30 = 3w-3

                            33 = 3w

                            11 =  w

so

 

width = w =11

length= 2w -3=2(11)-3=22-3=19

 

 

Area of rectangle = length * width

  

                          = 19 * 11

 

                          =209 ft ²
