While preparing for an upcoming marathon that takes an average athlete 6 1/2 hours to run, is calculating how many of the 5 rest stations he should stock with his supplemental beverage. The beverage pack provides needed electrolytes and 350 calories. The goal is to replace approximately a third of the calories burned.
