find another point based of of one that may be even, or odd.

Suppose the point (8, -7) is on the graph of y = f(x). Use this point to answer the questions below.

(a) If f is an even function, find another point on the graph of y = f(x).

(b) If f is an odd function, find another point on the graph of y = f(x). Do not use (0, 0).
I do not know how to do these type of functions, I don't understand. please explain the answer and how you got there.

oh, I understand, you use the rules of the function and flip the signs to match. I thought we had to find a whole other point, thank you!

On part b, Mark meant to say that
f(x) is an ODD function if f(-x) = -f(x)
