The area of a rectangle is 27 m2 , and the length of the rectangle is 3 m less than double the width. Find the dimensions of the rectangle.

I've been working on this problem and can't seem to find the correct dimensions.  Can someone please help?

If you were to follow my suggestion, you'd solve for width (w) AND THEN THE LENGTH WOULD FOLLOW, from length is 2w - 3.
