how many sculptures can he display?

Brian is helping to set up 20 small tables for an exhibit of Eskimo sculpture at the
museum. Each table can have one sculpture on each side. If he pushes all the tables together to
make one long table, how many sculptures can he display?

If tables are arranged in a horizontal line, then sculptures 1 through 20 would be placed on the 20 'upper' sides (using Plan View from above). And scultures 21 through 40 would be placed on the 'lower sides.'

 

There are then 21 vertical sides, and they would accommodate sculptures 41 through 61. This assumes that only one sculptures per vertical side (19 of these vertical sides, as viewed from above in plan view, would accommodate only 1 sculpture even though these sides are dual sides, because they're push together.).
