Kelly needs to get a minimum of 75% on today's 60-point math test in order to pass the class. What is the least number of points that she must score to achieve this goal ?

Since the least number of points will be 75% of 60 points , it will be 75/100*60 = 45 points.

   "What is 75% of 60?"

 

"of" usually means multiply

75% may be written as (75/100) or (0.75) as needed in the solution.

 

(75/100)*60

      45

 

Kelly must score at least 45 points (75%) on today's exam.
