i need help finding the Y

You are converting a linear equation from Common Form into Y Intercept form
 
3x-4y=0
 
Subtract each side by 3x
 
-4y =  -3x - 0
 
Divide Y by four
 
-y = 3/4x - 0
 
Slope is 3/4 and Y intercept is Zero

Scott meant to divide by -4 and get y = 3/4x + 0. Everything else is good!
