Algebra problem

The total volume of a cylinder with piston at bottom dead center is the sum of the piston displacement volume and the cylinder clearance volume. Thus,

compression ratio= (piston displacem volume) + (clearance volume)/(clearance volume) or CR= Vp + Vc/Vc

using algebra to find the clearance volume, we have Vc=Vp/CR-1

find the cylinder clearance volume (Vc) if the original engine. (Hint: Vp=2.0 liters divided by 4)
