Ok, What we know is a few things, let T be the total number of beads kits she bought. so, 9.5*T is the amount she paid for the kits. we also know that T-12 is how many she sold. she earned 622.00 profit from that sale. Profit = sales-costs.
So, Costs are 9.5T, sales are, 21.00(T-12). substitution gives you 9.5T+21.00(T-12)=622.00. with a little algebra, this becomes, 9.5T+21T-252.00=622.00, then, 11.5T=874.00, and finally, T=874.00/11.5=76.
