PLEASE HELP!! TEST PREP!!

there is a graph that shows how the depth of a submarine increased as it dove beneath the ocean surface. Point x represents the time in seconds and point y represents the depth in meters. The graph has points at (1,3) (2,6) and (4,12)

What can be concluded from the information of the graph.

 

A. The submarines depth increased from one meter to 3 meters in 1 second

 

B. The submarines depth increased from 1 meter to 3 meters in three seconds

 

C. The submarines depth increased at a rate of three meters per second

 

D. The submarines depth increased at a rate of 1/3 meter per second

It's up to you to do your own thinking.  The data says at 1 sec, depth was 3 m; at 2 sec, depth was 6 m; at 4 sec, depth was 12 m. 

 

Instead of flooding this website with all of your questions, you would benefit more by having a study group of friends from your class...you can help one another, and learn from one another.  Stuff has to make sense!
