Assuming Mariana will wear her coat in colder temperatures, the inequality should be x less than or equal to -4 degrees Celsius. X represents the temperatures that Mariana will wear her coat.
For example, temperatures colder than -4 degrees Celsius are -5 degrees Celsius, -6 degrees Celsius, and so on. Therefore, when thinking about negative values, numbers less than -4 are larger negative values.
Unfortunately I cannot write the inequality sign with the equal to sign (line underneath) on this post, but the inequality should be written as x<4 with the line underneath the less than sign.
