What does a double-headed arrow mean in a chemical equation?? PLEASE HELP!!! I AM LOST?

I am doing a lab where the chemical reaction is Fe^+3 (aq) + NCS^-1 (aq)<---      FeNCS^+2 (aq)
                                                                                                             ----->

The arrows are directly above/below each other. I am working on a pre-lab assignment that asks,

"What is the meaning of the double-headed arrow for this reaction?"

I am really stuck and I need help!!!!!!
