Write an inequality that can be used to find possible numbers of large and small pizzas sold on pizza night.

They sold 3 times as many large pizzas as small pizzas. Their goal was to make $1,536. They made more than the goal. Large pizzas are $6. Small pizzas are $5.  I also need one possible solution to the problem.

3x=# large pizzas sold

6(3x)+5(x)≥1536

18x+5x≥1536

23x≥1536

x≥1536/23

x≥66.7

you can't have part of a pizza so...

x≥67

they sold at least 67 small pizzas and at least 201 large pizzas (3*67=201)

you can't use 66 small and 198 large because you won't get $1536

they could have sold 68 small and 204 large

they could have sold 69 small and 207 large

and so on
