Write the standard form of the equation, which is AX + BY =C, where A, B, and C are constants.
Y= (-1/2)X - 1 You need to determine which number would be "C." That would be the number, integer, by itself, -1.
You need to isolate -1 by adding (+1/2)X to both sides of the equation. That will give you the AX + BY on the left side of equation and your constant on your right side.
