I need help with Algebra. I need to write the equation for this: "Picture Perfect Studios charges $8 per sheet of photos plus a $15 sitting fee. The Portrait Place charges $13 per sheet with no sitting fee. For what number of photo sheets will the cost be the same?"

s represents the number of sheets.

 

For the first studio:

cost = 15 + 8s

 

The the second studio:

cost = 13s

 

15 + 8s = 13s         subtract 8s from both sides

15 = 5s                   divide both sides by 5

3 = s

 

For three sheets the cost shall be the same.
