The basic form of an inverse function is
f(x) = k/x
Given f(x)=0.5 when x=3, we can solve for the constant, k.
0.5 = k/3
K =1.5
So f(x) = 1.5/x
Usually these types of problems then ask you to solve for f(x) given a new x.
