Sorry, but what is the question that you need an answer to? Your "the English Parliament and the French estates-general we're [sic] both assemblies that limited the power of kings" is a complete declarative statement which happens to be true (though the Estates-General of France had a lot less restraint over the powers of the French king than the Parliament of England had over the British monarchy).
