1) 3x(7x-2) + (7x-2)
You can factor a (7x-2) out:
(7x-2) (3x + 1)
2) x^3 + 4x^2 + 11x + 44
(x^3 + 4x^2) + (11x + 44)
Factor out x^2 from the first:
x^2(x + 4) + (11x + 44)
Factor out 11 from the last part:
x^2(x+4) + 11(x+4)
Now take out the (x+4):
(x+4)(x^2 + 11)
3) (x^2 +3x) (- 9x - 27)
Factor out an x from the first two and -9 from the last two:
x(x+3) - 9(x+3)
Take out the x+3:
(x+3)(x-9)
4)
5x^2 - 25x - 12x + 60
5x(x-5) - 12(x-5)
(x-5)(5x-12)
5)
4x^2 - 48x +x -12
4x(x-12) +1 (x-12)
(x-12)(4x+1)
