The left side of the equation is y¹ and the right side of the equation is y², what will the graph look like (using a graphing calculator) if there is one solution, no solution or infinite solutions?

Hey Pj -- when two expressions have "one solution," they intersect at one point ...

"no solution" expressions never intersect -- they're parallel, having the same slope ...

"infinite" solution elements intersect everywhere -- the curves lie on the same trace :)
